We announce our latest improvement in non-contact thickness measurement: the MGX 10 with increased c-frame length option.
This new option of our popular MGX gauge offers enhanced flexibility for customers requiring large sample measurement, allowing for more comprehensive material thickness analysis without compromising on the accuracy.
What's New?
The key upgrade in this new model is the increased c-frame length. While retaining all the features that make the standard MGX a favorite among quality control instruments, we've increased the c-frame length from the standard 100 mm (4 inches) to 177.8 mm (7 inches).
Same Accuracy, More Flexibility
Despite the increased c-frame length, the MGX maintains the same high standards of accuracy and width specifications as our standard Benchtop:
- Maximum width measurement: 250mm
- Accuracy: Identical to the standard MGX
The difference lies in its ability to reach deeper into samples, allowing for measurements at multiple points along a single sample without the need to rotate it.
How Does It Work?
The increased stroke option enables an even more efficient measurement process:
- Perform an initial scan of the sample
- Push the sample further into the gauge
- Conduct a second scan
- Repeat as needed
The number of scans is configurable, giving you complete control over your measurement process. This feature is particularly beneficial for customers with larger samples who need to measure multiple points along a single piece.
